Can you play strategically and win with different partners? Do you have the X factor to elevate your team above the competition? Can you jell with your teammates and create the chemistry needed to win it all? These are some of the elements beyond dinks, drives, and drop shots that make team pickleball exciting and unpredictable. If this sounds like fun to you, step up and sign up for our inaugural Tustin Pickleball Team Challenge.

Team Challenge will consist of two divisions with 4 teams in each division. Division I will consist of a mix of advanced intermediate and advanced level players (approx. 3.5+ to 4.0). Division II will consist of a mix of low intermediate and intermediate level players (approx. 3.0 to 3.5).

​

Teams will consist of 4 players – two men, and two women. Each match will consist of 4 games – men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and two mixed doubles. Team standings for the playoffs will be based on matches won and total points differential.

​

Team Challenge matches will be played over 3 consecutive weekends in a round robin format. Saturday matches will be played from 11am to 12pm (noon) right after regular organized play ends at 11am. The playoffs for gold, silver, and bronze medals will be played on Sunday May 5 from 8 to 10am. Two courts will be used for each match to allow for continuous play. Division 1 matches will be played on Courts 7, 8, 9, and 10. Division II matches will be played on courts 3, 4, 5, and 6 (courts 1 and 2 will remain open and available for other members). This event is open to Tustin Pickleball members only. Registration fee is $20 per player.

Members Only (Free!) Round Robin Event

For this event, you will compete as an individual with a different partner in each game, with up to 6 players on each court. The men's round robins will be played 7:30-9:30am, the women's round robins will be played 10am-noon. There will be one overall winner on each court. You must be a Tustin Pickleball member to participate. There is no charge for this event. Registration will open on Monday, May 6th.
